AKAB School for the Blind Mirpur provides elementary, middle and high school education. Religious teaching is part of the regular curriculum.

At elementary level, sixer is introduced for basic braille learnings. High school level students use perkin brailler for writing work. Talking computers help them get hands on technology, especially using internet and managing their own accounts on social pages.
CCTV facility provide large text on screens for low vision students as they move a small camera fixed in a mouse on a text book.
